A Team That Understands the Music Scene

HOW WE THINK ABOUT MENTAL WELLNESS

Mental health and substance use recovery is as unique as you are. We don’t judge, we don’t proselytize, and we don’t push our clients to pursue any path that doesn’t feel right for them.

SIMS embraces a holistic treatment model that addresses four key dimensions of well-being. Research from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Association (SAMHSA) has shown that treating and overcoming challenges in all these areas together can significantly improve well-being and mental health:

  • Health

Making healthy choices to support physical and emotional well-being and managing chronic illness

  • Home

    Having a stable
    and safe place to live

  • Purpose

    Having employment or a
    career, caring for family,
    and being creative

  • Community

Having positive relationships and mutual support with those you care about
