The Founders of the SIMS Foundation launch the “Founder’s Fundraising Challenge” to help bring affordable behavioral healthcare to musicians, music industry professionals and their dependents across the nation, in honor of Don Ellison, who sadly passed away in April, 2021.
Founded in 1995 by Don Ellison, Alejandro Escovedo, Don Harvey, and Wayne Nagel, SIMS Foundation is the only organization in the United States providing affordable mental health and substance use services and supports to all in the music industry, and their dependent family members. Through a person-centered approach and the provision of intensive case management, SIMS is uniquely qualified to ensure that all of their clients receive the services and supports that they need throughout their time with SIMS.
SIMS is going national so that we can support everyone in the music industry, across the country. To do so, we need your support! Our Founders are challenging others across the nation to donate to the SIMS Foundation to help ensure that emotional wellbeing of everyone in the music industry and their families.
