Warren Records presents the Misfit Musician Showcase Vol II – an exhilarating celebration of Austin’s burgeoning arts and music landscape. Following the success of the inaugural event, this showcase promises to be a captivating journey into the heart of the city’s creative spirit. This project is supported in part by the City of Austin Economic Development Department.

Prepare to be enthralled by seven exceptional acts, including the “soft hood rat” vibes of Suley FM and the Sewer Rats, the poetic brilliance of Rachael’s Eve, and uplifting, dynamic, and powerful performances by Tommyknees, Anthony Gomez, Sirene, Avery Rytel, and Jamie McKenzie & The Warren Women. The showcase will be hosted by the charismatic and enchanting Cass DeFreitas. It will be recorded and produced into a compilation album, providing an everlasting snapshot of emerging artists and their music in Austin.

This indoor music festival is not only a celebration of artistic expression but also a meaningful fundraiser for the World Premiere of “Always a Boy.” Ground Floor Theatre is proud to collaborate with Warren Records to support this powerful story of acceptance, inspired by Jo Ivester’s best-selling memoir, “Never a Girl.”
