Austin’s favorite street meets Austin’s favorite party. First Thursdays at South Congress Hotel is the signature monthly event that features a live performance by an up-and-coming local act, DJs throughout the hotel spaces, drink specials, pop-up activations and more.
This Austin tradition runs deep and is a reflection of South Congress Hotel’s commitment to building authentic community in Austin. Nothing is more authentic to the essence of Austin than live music, and that’s where South Congress Hotel and SIMS Foundation’s passion for building a better Austin converges! During each first Thursday, a portion of drink sales will be donated to help support The SIMS Foundation’s mission to provide mental health and recovery services to Central Texas music industry professionals.
Through this partnership, South Congress Hotel and SIMS Foundation are proud to highlight what makes our city special and work together to help ensure Austin’s music industry professionals get the services they need in order to keep Austin rockin’!
