A new year often brings a moment to pause, reset, and reflect, and for many, Dry January is a powerful way to start fresh and focus on our health and wellness.
That’s why this January, we’re excited to partner with local venues, local artists, and our friends at Rambler Sparkling Water to celebrate Dry January and generate support for the provision of mental health care services to music industry professionals, including venue staff.
Whether you’re exploring sobriety, taking a short break from alcohol, or simply choosing to cut back, Dry January is about making mindful choices that support your mental health. For musicians and music industry professionals, those choices can be especially meaningful in an environment where alcohol is often part of the culture.
How You Can Participate!
Throughout the month, you can join this initiative by purchasing Rambler Mocktails at some of Austin’s favorite venues, including:
- Sidebar
- Radio East
- Far Out Lounge
- Antone’s
- Valhalla
- Sagebrush
- Come and Take It Live
- Mohawk
- Low Down
- Buzzmill
Each location is partnering with SIMS and Rambler to offer custom mocktails named after local acts nolo, Tied Up, and Barb!

We invite you to visit one of these participating venues, grab a mocktail, and celebrate Dry January with us. Proceeds raised from the sale of these mocktails will all go toward the Dick Chalmers Music Venue Program, supporting mental health services for local venue staff.
By showing up, you’re supporting a culture that values mental health, inclusivity, and connection, and helping make Austin’s music community stronger for everyone.
