SIMS + SXSW Announce Partnership to Provide Mental Health & Recovery Resources During Festival On Posted on February 27, 2025February 27, 2025 Austin, TX (February 27, 2025) – As South by Southwest® (SXSW®) brings thousands of artists, industry professionals, and music lovers to Austin, the SIMS Foundation is ensuring mental health and recovery support are accessible during one of the city’s most high-energy events.This year, SIMS Foundation is offering direct resources in two key ways:Onsite Mental Health Support – For the duration of SXSW, SIMS Foundation will provide access to mental health support onsite, via The SIMS Support House, ensuring that those in need can find support in real time amid the fast-paced environment of the festival and conference. Located in the JW Marriott, The SIMS Support House will be open to SXSW employees, Festival Crew, and showcasing artists from March 7 to 15.Sober Space in Partnership with RecoveryATX – SIMS is collaborating with RecoveryATX to facilitate Sober Space, a supportive and substance-free environment for those in recovery or simply seeking a break from the festival.
